Rhizobium is a bacterium found in soil that helps in fixing nitrogen in leguminous plants.
It attaches to the roots of the leguminous plant and produces nodules.
Rhizobium is use full in legume and oil producing crops viz. pigeon pea, pea, chickpea,
soybean, ground nut etc.

  • Rhizobium fixes atmospheric nitrogen to the level of 20-40 kg per hectare and thereby
    helps to reduce the amount of synthetic fertilizer usage.

Description

EMRALD JEEVAN-R is a Nitrogen fixing biofertilizer. It has highly efficient nitrogen fixing bacteria of Rhizobium species. Bacteria Rhizobium is the most well-known species of a group of symbiotic bacteria for atmospheric nitrogen fixation. These bacteria infect the roots of leguminous plants, leading to the formation of ‘lumps’ or ‘Nodules’ where the nitrogen fixation takes place. The bacterium also produces enzymes (nitrogenase) that supply regulated and constant source of nitrogen to the host plant.

Application & Dose

Irrigation/drenching – 5 ml/ liter of water.
