Emrald Dakshan contains the insect pathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae which is a widely distributed soil- inhabiting fungus.
When sprayed on the plant, it generally enters into the insects through spiracles and pores in the sense organs and produces a lateral extension of hyphae. When the internal contents have been consumed, the fungus breaks through the cuticle and sporulates, there by killing the insect. The pests are controlled within 3 – 5 days.
Emrald Nivaran is non-pathogenic saprophytes that colonize soil and water and creates an environment that suppress plant diseases by production of number of secondary metabolites including antibiotics, siderophores and hydrogen cyanide.
This microbe has the unique ability to enter the plant vascular system, reach the other various parts of the plant system and acNivarant as a systemic bio-control agent against various fungal and bacterial diseases. Competitive exclusion of pathogens as the result of rapid colonization of the rhizosphere by Emrald Nivaran may also be an important factor in disease control.
